Step of Moshijia CNC Milling Process

Design

The initial step is to design a CAD model or blueprint of the part or product you want to mill or machine. This is done using computer-aided design (CAD) software, whether you’re looking to create a 2D or 3D model.

Programming

Once the design is finalized, the next step is to transform your CAD model into a CNC program. This is done using computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software, which generates G-code instructions. These instructions create a tool path that the machine will follow during the milling process.

Setup

Before the actual milling process begins, the milling machine needs to be prepared. This involves setting it up with the necessary cutting tools, work holding fixtures, and any other accessories required to start the machining process.

Execution

Once the milling machine is all set up, it gets to work. The equipment follows the tool path generated by the CAM software, cutting and removing material from the workpiece, bit by bit, until the final shape is achieved.
