Case introduction
The core steps of the machining process of this aluminum alloy engine block:
Base forming:
The cylinder block blank is formed by low-pressure precision casting, and the basic structure such as cylinder cavity, crankcase, and mounting bracket is cast in one piece to ensure the density and structural integrity of the material.

Precision Machining:
Through Multi-Process CNC Machining:
Fine boring cylinder hole to ensure the roundness, cylindricality and surface roughness of the hole (suitable for high-precision reciprocating movement of the piston);
Processing crankshaft bearing housings, oil circuits/water channels to ensure the sealing and circulation of each system;
Milling assembly surfaces and positioning holes to ensure accurate assembly of cylinder heads, oil pans and other components.

Intensive treatment:
The cylinder block is subjected to T6 heat treatment (solution + manual aging) to improve the mechanical strength and fatigue resistance of aluminum alloy, and to adapt to the high-load working conditions of high-performance engines.
